Our History
It started with a coupon for cat food.
It wasn't a brand I feed my resident cats, but it was enough of a deal that I figured I get it and feed the stray cats outside. Soon it grew from feeding 1 cat to 5. I happened to run into someone who did cat rescue and they told me about TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return). Well I figured if I was feeding them, I was responsible for them so I learned to TNR. Then I made shelters for them. Then I wanted to help others.
PKM was formed to provide sensible solutions and create a network of caring individuals who can help connect to those community resources. We've grown considerably since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Cats Are Our Mission
Porch Kitty Manor strives to alleviate suffering in the stray cat population by means of education, sterilization, nutritious food, shelter, and medical care. We focus on the individual. The cat owner who may not have the resources to care for their cat, stray cats and kittens in need of rescue, cats in need of spay & neuter. We take actions that make a long-lasting difference.
