• In Philly there are several low cost or free options. If you are feeding community cats aka strays, they can be TNR'd for free! Don't have a trap? We have a trap library that will not only loan you a trap, but show you how to use it safely. 

•  𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗣𝗛𝗜A (𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘):
  
• Traps will be available for pickup on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and 7: 30 p.m. from our Tacony location. Return appointments are on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Our library is housed at Safeguard Self Storage so it's important to note that no one will be able to assist you outside of your scheduled appointment time.
  
• The length of the trap loan is 12 days. There is no limit to the number of traps you can borrow at one time (pending available inventory).

• Click "Pickup” from the menu. After you select the day and time you wish to pick up, there is a short form to fill out. You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment. You can also sign up for text reminders.
  
•  Please check your email periodically for messages from us. We will be emailing you an agreement to read and sign.
  
•  All newcomers will receive a trap demonstration at pickup.

ACCT Philly is proud to work with citizens, volunteers, and TNR groups to help control the community cat population through spay and neuter. Cats in the ACCT Philly Community Cat Program receive spay or neuter surgery, left ear tip, vaccines, wellness exam, and food is during their stay. A left ear tip, indicates a cat has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Pets for Life (PFL) is driven by the philosophy that a deep connection with pets transcends socio-economic, racial and geographic boundaries, and no one should be denied the opportunity to experience the benefits, joy and comfort that come from the human-animal bond. In short, they assist low income pet owners to care for their pets. They bridge  the gap between animal service providers and millions of people and pets who might not otherwise afford quality vet care.

Systemic inequity and institutional barriers create immense challenges for millions of people every day in accessing pet resources and information. The extreme lack of access to pet resources is a national crisis. PFL is a thought leader in bringing attention to and advocating for people who are routinely overlooked or looked down upon and is an ally in fighting against economic and racial injustice.
